Congratulations to Yazan Arouri (Australian School of Petroleum) who has been awarded the prestigious Playford Memorial Trust Scholarship.

The scholarship is awarded to high-achieving students working in areas of strategic importance to the State. The Board regularly reviews these strategic priorities to reflect South Australia’s economic strengths and imperatives, with one of the Trust’s priority areas being resource development and mining. The aim is to help students make the most of their studies, achieve their potential and contribute to the State’s knowledge and research base.

This is the second major scholarship Yazan has won, having previously been awarded the prestigious Australian Petroleum Production & Exploration Association (APPEA) KA Richards Scholarship.
