“I’m really excited about what opportunities this scholarship could present to me,” Kristen said. “With my passion for space, this really makes me think further about what the possibilities might be for my future and just reassures me this pathway is definitely the right fit for me."

ECMS executive dean Professor Anton Middelberg said Kristen was a worthy recipient of the scholarship. "Engineering at Adelaide has a proud history with many firsts, including the first Australian astronaut in space, Andy Thomas," he said. "Through this scholarship, Kristen will explicitly stand on the shoulders of giants to reach new highs, and we wish her every success in her studies with us and her future career.”

Kristen has also been invited to be part of the inaugural University of Adelaide Dean’s Engineering Merit Program, offered to students who have achieved an exceptional ATAR score.

We congratulate Kristen on her outstanding achievements and wish her all the best for her studies and future career.
