UofA academics to receive ASCE Best Paper Award

Congratulations to the ECMS academics who have been selected to receive the 2019 Journal of Aerospace Engineering Best Paper Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

A/Prof Ching Tai Ng and his former PhD student, Gnana Teja Pudipeddi (first author) from the School of Civil, Environmental and Mining Engineering along with Prof Andrei Kotousov from the School of Mechanical Engineering have authored the paper titled "Mode Conversion and Scattering of Lamb Waves at Delaminations in Composite Laminates".

The journal awards will be presented at the award banquet Earth and Space Conference in the USA.
