Civil Engineering Networking: Meet your future boss

Do you want to meet senior engineers from over a dozen different companies? Do you like food and (safe amounts of) alcohol? If yes, you should come to the upcoming networking event for civil engineering students on Tuesday 6 August, 6pm - 8pm at the Elephant British Pub.

Networking the night away
The evening starts out with a ‘speed dating’ component where you meet all the engineers in the room to ask questions and make connections.

After that comes a more traditional ‘free roam’ where you can follow up with engineers you’d like to talk to more. Come prepared with questions and make a good impression – you may just end up talking to your future employer.
This event is brought to you by the not-for-profit societies Australian Geomechanics Society (AGS) and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and is open to undergraduate and postgraduate civil engineering students.

Tickets are $5 (heavily subsidised), and include a free drink, canapes, and engineering field kit or keep cup. Places are limited!
