|25 November||Saturday Maths Problem Solving||Students in years 7-11||The Saturday Morning Problem Solving Sessions are an opportunity for students with an interest in maths to take their problem solving skills beyond the curriculum. The sessions assist students of like interests and abilities to: find friendship, inspiration and encouragement while working on, thinking about and solving non-standard problems; build up a tool chest of strategies which will enable them to solve problems they have never seen before, and become flexible and creative in their approach to solving problems. |Sunday 20 August||Open Day||Students in years 8-12 and their families||Offering a range of engaging talks, informative displays and tours of world-class teaching and research facilities, the Faculty of ECMS presents an overview of study areas and career prospects in these dynamic disciplines. All schools within the faculty will be showcasing their programs in the Ingkarni Wardli atrium, with academics and current university students available to answer questions and chat with high school students, families, friends, and anyone with an interest in finding out more about university. |Australia's largest science expo event with a range of hands on stalls, spectacular science, animal and magic shows. Friday is dedicated to high school students; book in and bring your class for a day of hands on expo fun. Saturday and Sunday are open to all ages (general public) so bring the family down to learn more about the wonderful world of science.|

|5th May||Maths Prepared||Teachers of years 11 and 12 mathematics||2 teachers per school||An illuminating teacher professional development opportunity exploring different areas of high school mathematics and examples of where mathematics can lead at University and beyond. Teachers will experience presentations and a workshop with academic staff from the School of Mathematical Sciences as well as opportunities for Q&A discussion with staff and current students in applied mathematics, statistics and pure mathematics.More Information|

|23rd May||Women and Mathematics Workshop||Female students in year 12||up to 4 students per school||The Women in Mathematics Workshop is designed for girls in year 12 with a special interest in maths. This fun and interactive program allows the students to engage with mathematics and learn from the University of Adelaide's leading mathematics academics.|
|Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 June||Young Women in Technology Experience||Female students in years 9 and 10||10 students per school||This one-day event (schools select preferred date of the two dates available) introduces female students in years 9 and 10 to future study and career opportunities in engineering, computer and mathematical sciences. The experience includes interactive activities and inspirational talks from women currently studying or working in these fields.
