Porous graphene makes the future

Among diverse approaches for gas separation, membrane technology offers several benefits including: facile operation, low energy consumption, and easy maintenance.

In natural gas sweetening, porous graphene membrane is determined to be an ultimate material to achieve the process. The goal for this project is to determine the size and number of pores to make the best performance of the porous graphene in natural gas sweetening.

NAMD simulations have been applied to simulate the performance of different modified porous graphene in gas separation. The results will be used to guide further research in that area and develop the natural gas industry.
