Rotational detonation engines
Increasing our engine's efficiency: rotating detonation engines (RDEs) are an underdeveloped technology promising vastly increased efficiency over conventional combustion engines.
In order to initiate research into RDEs at the University of Adelaide, a comprehensive literature review was prepared for publication, and computational modelling based on existing research was conducted to establish a baseline model for continuing research into design optimisation.
