Vibration analysis of engine
Excessive vibration in combustion engines can lead to internal damage, inefficient operation and reduced performance.
The purpose of this project is to investigate, model and identify the sources of vibration within a prototype radial combustion engine via physical measurement and subsequent signal analysis. This analysis will be used to inform further work towards reducing vibration in the engine, and to validate any improvements made.
