Who killed the Somerton Man?

A man was found dead at the Somerton beach, South Australia.

This case is still a mystery due to his unknown identity and how he died. In this project, we were given the extracted DNA of the ‘Somerton man’ to help figure out who he actually was. Using this DNA we could analyse a number of characteristics like eye colour, ethnicity, teeth structure etc.

DNA is a sequence of molecule consisting 4 chemical bases namely Adenine, Guanine, Cytosine, and Thymine that carries the all the information of living things. By doing so, we can investigate his relatives through the process of comparing his DNA to others and figure out whether the analysis result match up with what we know about the man from photos and police reports.
