Dr Pereira is currently working with the Jet Propulsion Labs (JPL) at NASA in the USA after winning an Endeavor Fellowship, in particular working on the design of electronic circuits for space systems.

He has since won an Australian American Association (AAA) Sir Keith Murdoch Fellowship and a South Australian Space Innovation Fund Space Scholarship (awarded by SASIC) to continue his work and research with JPL and other NASA centres, especially Goddard in Maryland.

Dr Pereira is a member of the mm-wave and THz group at the University of Adelaide (UoA), which is involved in the development of high efficiency millimetre-wave integrated circuit (mm-wave IC) modules. These modules are about one sixth of the weight of the previous generation of systems while delivering four to five times the output power.

Find out more about the great work of Dr Pereira and the UoA team.

Congratulations!
