With over 80 in attendance, guests were treated to inspiring and uplifting speeches from the inaugural President Remy McGrath as well as Professor Kat Falkner, Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences.

The night was an exciting opening to the WiSAN community; a community that aims to foster relationships between the 17,000 female STEM graduates from the University of Adelaide.

As one of the University’s newest alumni networks and currently the only ECMS alumni network, WiSAN aims to develop and foster a supportive, diverse and inspiring community for its graduates through engagement, peer mentoring, personal and professional development and support for the next generation of Women in STEM.

Look out for upcoming events and graduate profiles from the WiSAN community. The network encompasses University of Adelaide alumni from the Faculties of ECMS, Sciences and Health Sciences.
