BHP

As a first year university student who is currently studying either an Engineering or Science degree, you are becoming curious about where your degree could take you. You may not have thought about joining the resources sector, but the new BHP first year intern program will give you a unique opportunity to explore a world of career possibilities.

To help you succeed in the program, you will be offered a mentor who will guide you and is available to provide support throughout your degree. Commencing 29 November for 8 weeks, the program will give you some great hands-on experience where you will learn from some of the best in the industry, and if you perform well and develop an interest in a resources career you will be invited back for subsequent placements.

This is a program open only to first year engineering students. BHP are very motivated for women to apply and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

Applications close Thursday 12 August 2021.
