Dept of Environment and Water - work experience opportunities

The Department for Environment and Water (DEW) aims to help South Australians conserve, sustain and prosper.

Their work is critical to South Australia’s future social, environmental and economic prosperity. The way they manage, conserve, and sustain our environment and cultural resources is vital for the wellbeing of all South Australians.

Depending on availability, DEW offers unpaid work experience where you can learn about the fundamentals of a particular job or work environment.

Being offered a placement depends on available opportunities, but also any experience you may have had and your aptitude for the role. Work experience applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis, usually by the manager of the relevant work area.

If you are interested in conservation, sustainability, the environment and South Australia's natural resources and heritage, contact DEW today to find out how you can be part of their team.
