Australian Maths Society Awards add up
Congratulations to Dr Luke Bennetts for winning an Australian Maths Society Award.
The President of the Australian Maths Society recently announced Luke and his co-authors as co-winners of the Gavin Brown Prize for their 2018 paper in the Journal of Geophysical Research: Oceans.
The prize is awarded for "an outstanding and innovative piece of research in the mathematical sciences published by a member or members of the Society”. Well done Luke!
Professor Mathai Varghese also recently won a prestigious award from the Society. You can read more about that win here.
