The Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences offers a wide range of different scholarships, prizes and grants for commencing and currently enrolled students.

Partnering with the South Australian Government and the resources sector, the Playford Trust is delighted to announce ten, two-year scholarships for students enrolling in mining and petroleum engineering at the University of Adelaide.
This industry and government initiative recognises the growing demand nationally for mining and petroleum engineers. Ten scholarships of $10,000 per year for two years are available for students commencing their first year of study in 2020. These scholarships aim to attract South Australia’s most talented minds to an industry that is leading our technological future.

We currently have 3 scholarships available to students either currently enrolled in a higher degree by research or who have been given a provisional offer of admission.
The ECMS Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Travelling Scholarship and the Frank Perry Travelling Scholarship in Engineering have been established to support higher degree by research students who present study-related research at peer-reviewed conferences, interstate or overseas.
The Clive E Boyce Scholarship has been established to support the undertaking of research activities or study-related travel by a current or commencing higher degree by research student in the School of Architecture and Built Environment.
Applications for these scholarships close Tuesday, 31 March 2020.

The Frank Perry Travelling Scholarship in Engineering is available to support higher degree by research students of outstanding merit in the field of engineering who present study-related research at a peer-reviewed conference. Applications close 31 March 2020.
The Santos Petroleum Engineering Scholarship is awarded to Australian citizens or Permanent Residents commencing their undergraduate studies in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Adelaide. Applications close 17 January 2020.
2020 round of Playford Memorial Trust scholarships now open - closing 17 January 2020.
The Primary Industries AgTech PhD Scholarship at The University of Adelaide is funded by Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) to support a full time PhD student who is undertaking research in a topic that will aid or improve primary industry production or profitability through the application of technology - applications close 20 November.
ECMS have on offer a number of highly sought-after PhD opportunities including industry placement and full-fee paying scholarship with expressions of interest closing 18 October.
RAA is offering six-week Computer Science and Data Science paid internship opportunities at its Mile End head office over the summer holidays. Applications close 8 October.
