The University of Adelaide is committed to supporting all people to follow a STEM pathway.

 We are passionate about creating equal ground for all people to engage in STEM. We have a wide range of programs to support women and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to discover where a pathway into STEM can take you. 

Our programs

Inspiring Women Program

Designed for primary aged girls aged 9 to 10, this program provides opportunities to get hands on and to build confidence in their STEM potential. 

Young Women in STEM Program

Designed for high school girls in years 9 and 10, this program provides the opportunity to meet current students and engage with hands-on activities.

Ingkarni Wardli Technologies Program

A unique program for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander high school students from years 9 to 12 with an interest in STEM.

Women in STEM Careers Program (WiSC)

WiSC provides personal and professional development opportunities for young women in STEM degrees at the University of Adelaide.

Women in STEM Alumni Network (WiSAN)

WiSAN aims to foster a supportive, diverse and inspiring community for its graduates and support for the next generation of Women in STEM.
