Join our Alumni Community
When you graduate from the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences you join a thriving alumni community of over 25,000 engineers, and computer and mathematical scientists.
The benefits of studying at Adelaide will continue beyond graduation and throughout your career. As a member of our alumni community you will be able to take advantage of professional development and networking opportunities, and exclusive events and offers, keeping you connected with your fellow classmates wherever life takes you.
Are you aged 35 or under? Our young alumni community can support you on your career journey. As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with other career-minded individuals at similar stages of life, and receive valuable support as you take the next steps in your career.
Global alumni networks
If your career takes you overseas, our global networks and activities provide an excellent avenue through which to stay connected with your fellow alumni, the Faculty and University. You'll find an established network to join in most locations. But if not, don't hesitate to ask us about starting one.
Alumni benefits and support
The University provides extensive alumni benefits and career services for you to take advantage of. These include: publications; special events; ongoing University library membership; discount alumni parking; and discounts on health and travel insurance.
The University honours and recognises alumni’s achievements every year through the Distinguished Alumni Awards. Do you know an alumnus who’s doing great things in our community? Nominate them.

Many ways to get involved
Mentor current students
When experienced alumni engage with current students, the benefits flow both ways. As an alumnus, you can mentor Adelaide students through our Career Access Mentoring and Women in STEM Careers programs—or consider hosting a student intern.
Be an ambassador
Do you have industry experience to unleash the ambition of the next generation? Many alumni across the globe volunteer to take a lead role in shaping our alumni program through the Alumni Council, Young Alumni Committee and other opportunities.
Contribute your expertise
You could also consider sharing your experience and expertise by speaking at an alumni event, leading a discussion on workplace challenges, or being profiled in a University publication. If you would like to get involved, please contact our Alumni Relations Officer.
