Vacation Work Experience
BHP is currently taking expressions of interest from second, third and fourth year Mechanical Engineering (or similar) students to complete paid Vacation Work Experience at their Olympic Dam mine.
Start and finish dates are negotiable with December to February as a guide.
Project
- Gain experience within the BHP Olympic Dam Mine Maintenance Analysis and Improvement (A&I) team
- Work closely with maintenance execution teams and complete work in a variety of areas including Continuous Improvement (CI), risk management and root cause analysis (RCA)
